  • You do not need a referral to begin therapy, unless your insurance provider requires one. You’re welcome to reach out directly to book an appointment. If you’re unsure whether therapy feels right for you, we can take some time during a consultation call to explore your needs together.

  • Confidentiality is an important part of creating a safe and trusting therapeutic space. What you share in session is kept private, with a few legal exceptions, such as if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. We will go over these limits together during your first session.

  • The initial consultation is a brief introduction for both of us. It’s a space for you to ask any questions and explore whether I may be the right fit for your needs.

  • Before your first session, you will be invited to complete an intake form, which includes background information, our service agreement, and general questions about your life history and current experiences.

During our first session, we will review this information together, explore what has brought you to therapy, and discuss what you hope to gain from this process. You are always welcome to ask questions at any point along the way.

Ongoing sessions will focus on working toward your goals. How this unfolds will be shaped by your needs, your pace, and the therapeutic approach we take together. You are encouraged to share feedback and ask questions throughout your journey.

  • Each therapy session is 50–90 minutes in length, depending on the type of session booked. The overall duration of therapy is guided by your individual goals and needs, which we can explore and revisit together throughout our work.

  • Payment is due after each session and can be made by credit card or e-transfer.

  • Psychotherapy services may be partially or fully covered through your extended health insurance or employee benefits plan. I encourage prospective clients to contact their insurance provider directly to confirm whether services offered by a Registered Psychotherapist, or psychotherapy services more generally, are included in their coverage.

  • Please note that we do not provide direct billing.
